Taxonomy
Anteridocus seminudus was named by Cooper and Grant (1976). Its type specimen is USNM 152855h, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM709c, Road Canyon Formation, Sullivan Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Roadian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
