Anteridocus swallovianus
Taxonomy
Camerophoria swalloviana was named by Shumard (1859). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is White limestone of the Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Capitanian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Capitan Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Pugnoides swallovianus by King (1931); it was recombined as Wellerella swalloviana by Walter (1953); it was recombined as Anteridocus swallovianus by Cooper and Grant (1976); it was recombined as Pugnax swallowiana by Girty (1908) and Li et al. (1986).
