Taxonomy
Weyeraia prima was named by Berkowski (2006). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Hamar Laghdad mud mounds, which is in a Givetian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in Morocco. It is the type species of Weyeraia.
