Aturia clarkei
Taxonomy
Aturia clarkei was named by Teichert (1944) [DISTRIBUTION: Middle Eocene; Western Australia.]. Its type specimen is UWA 21406, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kennedy Range, north of Merlinleigh Homestead, which is in a Lutetian shoreface sandstone in the Merlinleigh Sandstone Formation of Australia.
