Rhipidomella caucasica
Taxonomy
Rhipidomella caucasica was named by Kotlyar et al. (2004) [Central Research Museum of Geological Exploration (CRMGE) in St. Petersburg]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is CRMGE 1638/2139, a shell (Articulated shell). Its type locality is Kolpachi Ravine, Upper Urushten Formation, Malaya Laba River, NW Caucasus, which is in a Changhsingian marine shale in the Urushten Formation of the Russian Federation.
