Difuntites hidius

Taxonomy
Propinacoceras hidium was named by Ruzhentsev (1976). Its type specimen is PIN 3637/1 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Maykhe River, Trench 469, Shkotovo District, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in the Lyudyanza Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Difuntites.

It was recombined as Difuntites hidius by Leonova (2002).
