Cyathocrinites ramosus
Taxonomy
Encrinites ramosus was named by von Schlotheim (1816). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Glücksbrunn, Thuringen, which is in a Wuchiapingian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Zechstein Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Cyathocrinus ramosus by King (1850) and Geinitz (1861); it was recombined as Cyathocrinites ramosus by Donovan et al. (1986).
