Graminospongia girtyi
Taxonomy
Guadalupia girtyi was named by Parona (1933). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Rupe di San Calogero Block, Sosio (Padua collection), which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in Italy. It is the type species of Graminospongia.
It was recombined as Graminospongia girtyi by Termier and Termier (1977), Aleotti et al. (1986) and Senowbari-Daryan and Rigby (1988).
