Rostranteris exile
Taxonomy
Rostranteris exile was named by Gemmellaro (1899). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pietra di Salomone, calcare grossolano, Sosio, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in Italy.
It was recombined as Notothyris exilis by Schellwien (1900), Diener (1903) and Liao and Meng (1986); it was corrected as Rostranteris exilis by Fantini Sestini (1965).
