Taxonomy
Porcellia maamouriae was named by Termier and Termier (1977) [Collection H & G Termier (Paris)]. Its type specimen is HGT 1807 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Baten beni Zid Series, Djebel Tebaga, which is in a Wordian marine marl/carbonate in Tunisia.
