Taxonomy
Streblascopora punctata was named by Romantchuk (1981) [Geological Museum of the Soviet Far Eastern Territorial Geological Bureau]. Its type specimen is DVTGU 3M 25/4 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bolshie Churki Range, Quarry at 94 km along Birobidzhan-Leninskoy Route, which is in a Capitanian carbonate limestone in the Osakhta Formation of the Russian Federation.
