Taxonomy
Atomodesma tenuistriata was named by Muromtseva (1984). Its type specimen is 188/11570 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Balbuk River, Orulgan Mountains, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Khaldzhin Formation of the Russian Federation.
