Oblicarina carinata

Taxonomy
Chaenomya carinata was named by Etheridge (1892) [Queensland Museum, Brisbane]. Its type specimen is F1218, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Banana Creek, which is in a Wuchiapingian coastal sandstone in the Flat Top Formation of Australia.

It was synonymized subjectively with Vacunella curvata by Runnegar (1967); it was recombined as Oblicarina carinata by Waterhouse (1967) and Waterhouse (1987).
