Syrella elongata
Taxonomy
Subansiria elongata was named by Armstrong (1970). Its type specimen is UQF 52857 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is UQ L3127, middle strike ridge, Homevale, which is in an Artinskian marine siliciclastic in the Tiverton Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Permasyrinx elongata by Waterhouse (1987); it was recombined as Syrella elongata by Waterhouse and Chen (2007).
