Taxonomy
Ammonites conradi was named by Morton (1834) [DISTRIBUTION: Maastrichtian; Atlantic and Gulf Coastal Plains.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Scaphites (Discoscaphites) conradi by Meek (1876); it was recombined as Discoscaphites conradi by Landman and Waage (1993), Kennedy et al. (1997) and Larina et al. (2016).
