Taxonomy
Marginalosia magna was named by Abramov and Grigorieva (1988). Its type specimen is PIN 4065/325 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Kobyume River, T. 4/118, Southern Verkhoyan, which is in a Capitanian marine siliciclastic in the Lugov Formation of the Russian Federation.
