Peroniceras undulatocarinatum was named by van Hoepen (1955) [DISTRIBUTION: Coniacian; South Africa.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Peroniceras (Zuluiceras) undulatocarinatum by Klinger and Kennedy (1984).
