Partschiceras umzambiense
Taxonomy
Phylloceras umzambiense was named by van Hoepen (1920) [DISTRIBUTION: Santonian-Campanian; South Africa.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Locality 1 (Upper), Umzamba River mouth, which is in a Santonian marine siltstone in the Umzamba Formation of South Africa.
It was recombined as Partschiceras umzambiense by Kennedy and Klinger (1977) and Klinger (1985).
