Subperrinites bakeri
Taxonomy
Perrinites bakeri was named by Plummer and Scott (1937). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lenox Hills, base of escarpment north of Wedin's ranch, which is in a Sakmarian carbonate limestone in the Lenox Hills Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Subperrinites.
It was recombined as Subperrinites bakeri by Tharalson (1984) and Leonova (2002).
