Taxonomy
Pinegopora delicata was named by Shishova (1965). Its type specimen is PIN 1692/275 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bereznik Village, Pinega River, which is in a Roadian coastal siliciclastic in the Kazan Formation of the Russian Federation.
