Sharpeiceras laticlavium

Taxonomy
Ammonites laticlavius was named by Sharpe (1855) [DISTRIBUTION: Cenomania; Europe, central Asia, southern Africa.]. It is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Sharpeiceras.

It was recombined as Mantelliceras laticlavium by Böse (1928); it was recombined as Sharpeiceras laticlavium by Zaborski (1985), Kennedy (1994), Sharifi et al. (2016) and El Qot (2018).
