Taxonomy
Kossmaticeras (Gunnarites) antarcticum bhavaniformis was named by Kilian and Reboul (1909) [DISTRIBUTION: Maastrichtian; Antarctica.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Gunnarites bhavaniformis by Spath (1953), Lahsen and Charrier (1972), Macellari (1986) and Salazar et al. (2010).
