Hoploscaphites angmartussutensis

Taxonomy
Scaphites (Discoscaphites) angmartussutensis was named by Birkelund (1965) [DISTRIBUTION: Maastrichtian; Greenland.]. Its type specimen is MMH 9846, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oyster-ammonite Conglomerate loc. III, Agatdalen, Nugssuaq, which is in a Maastrichtian offshore shale in Greenland.

It was recombined as Hoploscaphites angmartussutensis by Kennedy et al. (1999).
