Taxonomy
Derbyia vercherei was named by Waagen (1884). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bilot, compact beds of Middle Productus-limestone, Khisor Range (Verchere coll), which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
