Taxonomy
Spiriferella bituchensis was named by Abramov (1974). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Bituchan Creek, T. 53, Uyana River Basin, Western Verkhoyan, which is in a Sakmarian marine siliciclastic in the Echii Formation of the Russian Federation.
