Taxonomy
Clavidictyon praecipuum was named by Zukalova (1971). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Moravian Karst, Vilemovice Limestone, back-reef, which is in a Frasnian perireef or subreef limestone in the Vilemovice Formation of the Czech Republic.
