Taxonomy
Calceolispongia cracowensis was named by Willink (1979). Its type specimen is UQF 69907, a calyx (Second brachials), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is UQ L849, Dawson River, Theodore, which is in a Wuchiapingian coastal sandstone in the Barfield Formation of Australia.
