Taxonomy
Saghalinites wrighti was named by Birkelund (1965) [DISTRIBUTION: Maastrichtian; Europe.]. Its type specimen is MMH 9747, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oyster-ammonite Conglomerate loc. III, Agatdalen, Nugssuaq, which is in a Maastrichtian offshore shale in Greenland.
