Schloenbachia gracilima was named by Kossmat (1895) [DISTRIBUTION: Albian; India.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Prohysteroceras (Goodhallites) gracillimum by Förster (1975); it was recombined as Goodhallites gracilima by Henderson and Kennedy (2002).
