Eoletes xianensis
Taxonomy
Simplaletes xianensis was named by Zhang and Qi (1981). Its type specimen is IVPP V 6062, a partial skull (anterior portion of skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yinponcun (IVPP locality 65008), which is in an Eocene/Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Bailuyuan Formation of China.
It was recombined as Eoletes xianensis by Lucas et al. (1997).
