Taxonomy
Lytoceras belliseptatiforme was named by Collignon (1962) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Albian; Madagascar.]. Its type specimen is Collignon_fig953, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SPM 1969, Section 9A-B, Soromaraina (Marovoay), which is in an Aptian marine horizon in Madagascar.
