Pseudoactinodictyon bullulosum was named by Stearn (1966). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Mikkwa River, which is in a Frasnian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Mikkwa Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Salairella bullulosa by Stearn (1996).
