Taxonomy
Molapopentapodiscus pilosus was named by Ellenberger (1970). It is not extant. Its type locality is Leribe tracksite, which is in a Pliensbachian terrestrial horizon in the Clarens Formation of Lesotho.
It was recombined as Batrachopus pilosus by Olsen and Galton (1984).
