Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
M. G. Lockley and J. R. Foster 2003Pes probably pentadactyl with straight subequal central digits (i.e., digits II-IV), which are only slightly divergent (typically 20-30°). Length of digits II-IV between 1.5 and 2 cm. Lateral digits shorter and more highly divergent. Outer digit (V) may be longer (about 1 cm) than inner digit (I) but is shorter than digits II-IV and diverges from digit IV at a high angle (up to 50-60°). Inner digit (I) shortest. Digits II-V sometimes revealing up to 3 clear pad impressions. Manus smaller and shorter and probably tetradactyl. Trackway variable, with inter footprints distances (?steps) up to 12 cms.
