Labidosaurus hamatus

Taxonomy
Pariotichus hamatus was named by Cope (1896). Its type specimen is AMNH 4341, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coffee Creek, 34 (Arroyo Formation), which is in a Kungurian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Arroyo Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Labidosaurus.

It was recombined as Labidosaurus hamatus by Cope (1896), Hay (1902), Case (1911), Hay (1930), Seltin (1959), Fox and Bowman (1966) and Modesto et al. (2007).
