Pseudoliva parinasensis was named by Woods (1922). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Pseudoliva (Buccinorbis) parinasensis by Clark and Durham (1946); it was recombined as Sulcobuccinum parinasensis by DeVries (2004).
