Potamides (Cerithidea) sucabumianus was named by Martin (1899) [DISTRIBUTION: Middle Miocene; Indonesia.]. It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Cerithidea (Cerithideopsilla) sucabumianus by Oostingh (1935); it was recombined as Cerithidea (Cerithideopsilla) sucabumiana by Shuto (1978) and van den Hoek Ostende et al. (2002).
