Boutersemia belgica
Taxonomy
Boutersemia belgica was named by Mayr and Smith (2001). Its type specimen is IRScNB Av 41, a limb element (distal part of left tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boutersem TGV, which is in a Rupelian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Borgloon Formation of Belgium. It is the type species of Boutersemia.
