Taxonomy
Kalloclymenia was named by Wedekind (1914) [Sepkoski's age data: D Fame-m D Fame-u Sepkoski's reference number: 1042]. It is not extant. Its type is Goniatites subarmatus.

It was reranked as Gonioclymenia (Kalloclymenia) by Lange (1929).

It was assigned to Gonioclymenia by Lange (1929); to Clymeniida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Gonioclymeniidae by Bogoslovsky (1981) and Korn (2006).
