Kochiproductus peruvianus
Taxonomy
Productus peruvianus was named by d'Orbigny (1842). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yaurichambi (d'Orbigny coll), which is in an Asselian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Copacabana Formation of Bolivia.
It was recombined as Buxtonia peruviana by Chronic (1953); it was recombined as Kochiproductus peruvianus by Cooper and Grant (1975) and Cisterna et al. (2014).
