Taxonomy
Dualina amina was named by Kříž (2008). Its type specimen is JK 11573, a shell (left upper valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Section No. 942, Liščí;í Quarry near Amerika gamekeepers lodge, Karlštejn, which is in a Gorstian carbonate limestone in the Czech Republic.

Kříž 2008Dualina of the Dualina longiuscula Barrande, 1881 group with small subtrigonal shells, shell length and width almost equal,inequivalve, compressed, and strongly enantiomorphous, distinctly inclined to the right, with flat, lanceolate frontal face. Anterior margin of the upper valve is almost straight, and in dorsoventral direction. On the anterior face of the shell are developed 18 radial ribs and 28 radial ribs developed in posterior part of the shell. Posterior wing is separated from the rest of the shell by shallow radial sinus.
