Ventral valve with small propareas separated by a deep pedicle groove, continuous with the internal valve face, and connected to a pair of feebly developed anteriorly divergent septa/ ridges; a pair of narrow, subparallel to parallel V-shaped pedicle nerve grooves extending from anterior adductor scars to posterior adductor scar without merging; posterior adductor scar rounded. Dorsal valve with a median septum extending from posterior adductor scar to antero-lateral muscle scars; posterior adductor scar rounded, antero-lateral muscle scars closely located near centre muscle scars. Both ventral and dorsal mantle canals (vascula lateralia) subparallel and convergent anteriorly. |
