Taxonomy
Epijuresanites was named by Popov (1970) [Sepkoski's age data: P Leon]. It is not extant. Its type is Epijuresanites musalitini.

It was assigned to Goniatitida by Sepkoski (2002); to Spirolegoceratidae by Leonova (2002); to Paragastrioceratinae by Korn (2006) and Furnish et al. (2009); and to Sverdrupitinae by Leonova and Shilovsky (2007) and Leonova and Shilovsky (2014).
