Capillonia brevisulcus
Taxonomy
Lissochonetes brevisulcus was named by Waterhouse (1964). Its type specimen is NZGS BR917 and is a mold. Its type locality is GS1456, Steel's House Quarry, Clinton (G45/f9498), which is in a Changhsingian marine horizon in the "Puruhauan" Formation of New Zealand.
It was recombined as Capillonia brevisulcus by Waterhouse (1973), Waterhouse and Mutch (1978) and Waterhouse (1982).
