Taxonomy
Cleiothyridina laqueata was named by Waterhouse (1968). Its type specimen is NZGS BR 1253, a shell (Conjoined shell, preserved as an external and damaged internal mold), and it is a mold. Its type locality is GS5077, Arthurton (G45/f8592), which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in the AG4 Formation of New Zealand.
