Epidexipteryx hui
Taxonomy
Epidexipteryx hui was named by Zhang et al. (2008). Its type specimen is IVPP V15471, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton with feathers), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Daohugou (IVPP collection), which is in a Callovian lacustrine - large shale/tuff in the Tiaojishan Formation of China. It is the type species of Epidexipteryx.
