Taxonomy
Thamnarea mammelonata was named by Turnsek and Mihajlovic (1981). It is not extant. Its type locality is Zljebine Creek near Donja Kamenica, which is in a Barremian/Aptian perireef or subreef limestone in Serbia and Montenegro.
It was recombined as Dendraraea mammelonata by Baron-Szabo (2009).
