Taxonomy
Echinalosia (Notolosia) millyiti was named by Archbold (1988). Its type specimen is GSWA F11232, a valve (Ventral valve, external mould with counterpart internal mould), and it is a mold.

It was recombined as Notolosia millyiti by Waterhouse (2001).
