Hoare 1993 | Phestia with narrowly rostrate posterior margin; beaks opisthogyrate, located near midlength; lunule and escutcheon not observed; surface ornamentation of numerous, closely spaced, comarginal lirae (10-12 per mm); hingement of at least three denticles anterior to beak and five posterior to beak; adductor scars not pronounced, anterior scar suboval, posterior scar subquadrate, located on umbonal ridge; resilifer not seen; a faint, arcuate groove extends posteroventrally from the umbo on internal molds. |
