Taxonomy
Thecospira andreaei was named by Bittner (1912). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Seelandalpe, reef dwellers, which is in a Julian reef, buildup or bioherm framestone/packstone in the Cassian Formation of Italy.
It was recombined as Hungaritheca andreaei by Dagys (1974).
